Package: an
Version: 0.95-3.1
Severity: normal

on my system, command
        an areni
returns:
-------8<-------------8<-------------8<-------------8<------
areni
arie n'è
arie né
ani re
ari ne
ira ne
era in
rea in
ai n'è re
ai né re
arò nei
arò n'è ei
arò né ei
-------8<-------------8<-------------8<-------------8<------

As you can see, many entries, including the second one, repeat the letter "e",
one time with the accent and one time without. The same doesn't seem to happen
with letter "ò"/"o".

Notice my system has Italian as default language; you should be able to
reproduce by installing package witalian and giving command:
        an -d /usr/share/dict/italian areni
