Package: qemu Version: 0.7.0-2 Severity: normal Hi,
when using d-i in qemu, NIC detection fails since a couple of days ago. I *think* this coincides with the upgrade to xorg in unstable. The NIC works fine if manually selected, but cannot be detected anymore. Another issue that I think could be related is that qemu occasionally hangs now during normal operation. By "hang" I mean that at different stages of the d-i install, nothing happens (no IO, no significant CPU load) until I do a couple of console switches or give keyboard input - not sure which one actually makes it continue again. cheers, Max -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages qemu depends on: ii bochsbios 2.1.1+20041109-3 BIOS for the Bochs emulator ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libsdl1.2debi 1.2.7+1.2.8cvs20041007-5.1 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii openhackware 0.4.1-1 OpenFirmware emulator for PowerPC ii proll 18-1 JavaStation PROM 2.x compatible re ii vgabios 0.5c-1 VGA BIOS software for the Bochs an ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-8 compression library - runtime Versions of packages qemu recommends: ii debootstrap 0.3.1.4 Bootstrap a basic Debian system ii sharutils 1:4.2.1-14 shar, unshar, uuencode, uudecode -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
