   I don't know what makes you believe that. This conversion
is necessary in every HTML tag except comments (you can use
http://validator.w3.org/ to get proof of this).

   I had lots of issues to investigate, but haven't got any patches
ready for them, and my schedule currently does not leave me time
to work intesively on OpenCV. Are you aware of the PowerPC issues
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=254772) and do you
know if they are still present?
