Package: python-foolscap Version: 0.3.2.dfsg-2 Severity: normal There's a new foolscap-0.4.2 available upstream, at http://foolscap.lothar.com/trac .
(I'm the upstream author, and I'm especially interested in getting 0.4.2 into debian, because I'm trying to get Tahoe into debian, and it depends upon a newer foolscap). The only packaging differences I would anticipate is the addition of some new tools to /usr/bin ("flappserver" and "flappclient", joining the existing "flogtool"), and some useful experimental tools to doc/examples that should probably go in /usr/share/doc/python-foolscap/ . Incidentally, it appears that the 0.3.2.dfsg tarball is the same as my upstream 0.3.2 tarball. Was the removal of misc/testutils/ accidentally reverted? thanks, -Brian -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22.1 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages python-foolscap depends on: ii python 2.5.4-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.11 register and build utility for Pyt ii python-twisted-core 8.2.0-2 Event-based framework for internet ii python-twisted-web 8.2.0-2 An HTTP protocol implementation to ii python-zopeinterface 3.4.0-1 The implementation of interface de Versions of packages python-foolscap recommends: ii python-openssl 0.9-1 Python wrapper around the OpenSSL ii python-twisted-names 8.2.0-1 A DNS protocol implementation with python-foolscap suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
