I just upload 0.1.7-2. Can you report me if it fix your problem ?
(I've python2.4 also installed on my sid laptop but I did not get your
failure with the previous package...)
By the way, many thank for your report.
However, please note that I generally prefer if new bugs reports are
opened for each problem. In this case, it did not matter because I had
time to handle them immediately. But when it is not the case, having an
opened bug make easiest for me to track what I have to do.
