https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debconf/+bug/415038 the patch attached to above may be a good starting point if it is decided that Gnome.pm is moved to GtkAssistant http://launchpadlibrarian.net/30430016/d.diff I may have missed corner cases and the back button situation is unclear but otherwise it works for me.
