Package: dovecot-common Version: 1:1.2.2-2 Severity: minor Hello,
I think it would be good if dovecot-common would only suggest ntp and not ntpdate. Upstream doestn't recommend it and since some 1.1.x version (IIRC) it exists itself if the time moves backwards about 5 seconds, which can happen with ntpdate. http://wiki.dovecot.org/TimeMovedBackwards -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers experimental APT policy: (500, 'experimental'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
