Package: dh-kpatches Version: 0.99.35 Severity: wishlist Yann,
thank you for maintaining dh-kpatches over the years. To benefit from the wonders of make-kpkg I today tried to debianize a 3rd party kernel patch. I read the info available for dh_installkpatch but it is missing instructions on how to create all files except for $patchname.kpatch. maint-guide or google were not helpful either. When I run dh_installkpatches the script complains about a missing debian/rules file. Other people seemed to have had similar problems as can be seen in http://groups.google.de/group/linux.debian.user/browse_thread/thread/c365f7c55522cc55/fe2cd2b8f6f69681?q=dh_installkpatches&rnum=5&hl=de#fe2cd2b8f6f69681 for example. There seems to be no information to be had anywhere on the web on how to do this. Please include such information in the documentation for the dh-kpatches package. Thank you.
