Package: libao Severity: normal 32-bit packages installed using ia32-apt-get segfault when they try to use libao. This is because libao looks for its drivers in /usr/lib/ao/plugins-2/ when the ia32-apt-get libao installs its drivers in /usr/lib32/ao/plugins-2/.
A temporary fix is to symlink the drivers (with another name to avoid a conflict with the 64-bit package) into /usr/lib/ao/plugins-2/ but ideally libao should be modified to look for its drivers in the correct place. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
