This is true for both *.dpkg-dist and *.dpkg-new files.
In my previous report, I meant *.dpkg-dist.
More files seem to be affected in the same way:
/etc/acpi/lib/eeepc-amixer-blacklist
/etc/acpi/lib/bluetooth.sh
/etc/acpi/lib/sound.sh
/etc/acpi/lib/notify.sh
/etc/acpi/actions/lid.sh
/etc/acpi/actions/wireless.sh
/etc/acpi/actions/suspend.sh
/etc/acpi/actions/volume.sh
Even though those are not configuration files per se, it would still be
nice if *.dpkg-dist and *.dpkg-new files would be honored.
