forcemerge 376406 540727: thanks [Piotr] > If I try to restart bootlogd on my both Lenny machines with option > BOOTLOGD_ENABLE=YES in /etc/default/bootlogd, then I'm getting the > following Error:
Bootlogd only work during boot, with the tty set to the console. The problem you report is a problem with locating the current tty when it is a pseudo-terminal, and was solved in version 2.87dsf-1. But restart is not really support to work the way you use it. After enabling bootlogd, you will see a file /var/log/boot after the next boot if it worked. :) Happy hacking, -- Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
