Use my build for now then: http://www.tineplanet.ca/~lsorense/debian/nvidia-185xx Mine is version 185.18.14-2.1 and I have been using it with 2.6.31 a few weeks now. I sent the patch to the mailing list but we haven't had a new release yet.
