Package: libept-dev
Version: 0.5.26+b1
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

libept contains, in fact, two sets of code: one which is used by adept,
and one which is used by debtags, aptitude, goplay and packagesearch.

While there is some overlap between the two sets, it is minimal.

It makes sense, therefore, to move the adept-specific code into adept
and greatly simplify the remaining libept, making it smaller and easier
to maintain.

Ciao,

Enrico
