Finally had a chance to try out gpsd again. Thanks for fixing #515085!

By default USBAUTO is set to false in /etc/default/gpsd, thus automatic starting of gpsd during hotplug (as advertised by the "Start gpsd automatically on boot?" debconf question) doesn't work with manual intervention. While /etc/default/gpsd says it's automatically and should only be modified by running "dpkg-reconfigure gpsd", even with -plow there's no corresponding debconf question.
