Thanks for posting this Sladan. After upgrading from grub to grub-pc the Microsoft Windows Vista items were lost from the menu. I was unaware of the os-prober package and installing it did get the menu items back.
aptitude install os-prober aptitude reinstall grub-pc -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
