reassign 537492 libc0.1 retitle 537492 access() should have the recommended behaviour of POSIX.1-2008 severity 537492 normal thanks
While this is clearly a bug of coreutils which does a mapping 1-1 between "test -x" and "access()", the behaviour of access() conforms to POSIX.1-2008, but is not the recommended behaviour.
