I also tried renaming pam_unix.so to pam_unix.so.bak to see if it breaks the authentication all together, still auth_source pam works. how is that? because it reads /etc/shadow file directly. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
