Package: nedit
Version: 1:5.6~cvs20081118-5
Severity: important

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
NEdit doesn't support two-keys accented characters (such as ê, ï, â, etc.) in any tab except the first one. - In the first tab all is OK, every French accented characters are supported: é, è, ê, à, â, î, ï. - In any extra tab, the following accented characters can not be typed: ê, â, î, ï. More precisely it concerns any characters that uses ^ or ¨. Note that they can still be paste... but not typed.

I launch NEdit this way because my locale is UTF-8: LANG=fr_FR /usr/bin/nedit
