Package: php5 Version: 5.2.10 Severity: critical PHP provides CLI interface and does not require a web server. It also works just fine with other web servers and web software which may be installed. Nevertheless the package lists "Requires: apache2-mpm-prefork" which is plain wrong.
The use of that tag causes apache2 to force-install which unless manual overrides are added, breaks all other software which needs port 80 but starts after apache2 in the boot sequence.
