Package: eric Version: 4.3.1-1 Severity: normal Tags: l10n When running Eric with LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8 locale setting default shortcuts are not same as when running Eric with LANG=C locale.
For example in russian locale by defalt action "vm_edit_move_down_line" has
no shortcut, which means that down arrow key is not working by default in
editor!
Attaching initial keymap from first run of Eric with russian layout:
eric_ru_RU.UTF-8_default_keymap.e4k (produced with "Settings -> Export
keyboard shortcuts").
Redefining of shortcuts for actions works perfect, incorrect only default
shortcuts values in russian layout (probably incorrect process of loading
shorcuts layout when program runs with russian locale). So workaround for
current problem is to import default shortcuts layout "by hands" with
"Settings -> Export keyboard shortcuts" ("Настройка -> Импортировать горячии
клавиши" in russian) from /usr/share/eric/default.e4k file.
