It looks like this issue goes away with the version in Sid: Jun 26 20:03:42 zipacna kernel: Kernel logging (proc) stopped. rsyslogd: [origin software="rsyslogd" swVersion="3.22.0" x-pid="1394" x-info="http://www.rsyslog.com";] exiting on signal 15.
