Hello, I am using RT 3.8.2 (debian package) and am upgrading to 3.8.4. I am using apache2, postgresql 8.3, and postfix with it. I attempted to upgrade the database using the rt-setup-database program, but it failed. I attempted two different paths to upgrade: % rt-setup-database --action upgrade --dba rtuser --prompt-for-dba-password In order to create or update your RT database, this script needs to connect to your Pg instance on localhost as rtuser Please specify that user's database password below.
