Package: pioneers-console Version: 0.12.2-4 Severity: normal Upon rechecking Debian Policy, I realized that this behavior represents a violation of Debian Policy 10.7.3 <http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-files.html#s10.7.3>. A package must not ship configuration files in the package as conffiles and then modify them in maintainer scripts.
Thus, please stop shipping the file in the pioneers-console package, and instead have the maintainer scripts create the file.
