One, this seems to be a duplicate of bug 511071. Two, these bugs ARE STILL A PROBLEM as of nautilus 2.26.2-5
Three, a basic desktop function like "Empty Trash" not working is the kind of thing that drives newbies back to Windows XP. This should be easy to fix, and it has a strong impact on new user retention. What is the problem?
