Well, I've deleted .local once, because it didn't seem to contain
anything useful.

There is an empty kaboom file in .local though:
-rw-r--r-- 1 edwin edwin 0 2009-06-09 09:06 /home/edwin/.local/kaboom

Obviously kaboom didn't run successfully last time, since the kde3 ->
kde4 migration has already taken place.
