Package: netplug Version: 1.2.9.1-1 Severity: important The initscript of netplug does not stop the netplugd which also results in a not-uninstallable package.
The problem is the additional --exec directive in the stop-case. It will cause start-stop-daemon to actually *start* netplugd again. Remove this and it will work. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29.4-8 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages netplug depends on: ii iproute 20090324-1 networking and traffic control too ii libc6 2.9-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries netplug recommends no packages. netplug suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
