Package: openntpd Version: 3.9p1-7 Severity: normal On a Debian Lenny system, /etc/network/if-up.d/openntpd calls invoke-rc.d openntpd force-reload.
This causes that even when openntpd is disabled by update-rc.d -f openntpd remove, or stopped manually by the user, it's started after a network startup/reload. Expected behaviour would be to only restart if the process is running, and otherwise do nothing. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-486 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
