Package: nmap
Version: 4.68-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I have a blackhole route for the entire 10.0.0.0/8 network so rfc1918
addresses don't leave my home network via the default route. When scanning
10.0.0.0/16, of which some /24s are routeable, nmap hangs in the error
handler when encountering an address that is blackholed:

sendto in send_ip_packet: sendto(5, packet, 40, 0, 10.0.6.1, 16) => Network is
unreachable
Offending packet: TCP 212.202.168.3:35586 > 10.0.6.1:80 A ttl=54 id=21760
iplen=40  seq=1251305006 win=3072 ack=2379721708
Sleeping 15 seconds then retrying

etc.

   Simon
