Hello,

I tracked down the issue to a little problem with mlt and pkg-config, I
will fix it in mlt or do a quickfix for kdenlive these days.

Yeah the result is, that you have to enter manualy the path, what is no
problem, but it crashes because it is not quite compatible with the
older mlt version on your system, you should try out 0.3.8 and report
again here, then I could add conflicts if needed :)
