  I cannot replicate your environment easily to test, do you have some
  network log of what's happening? (Tools/Network log...) 
  I guess you can reproduce it, if so, launch claws-mail with --debug option
  and get the log of the session. You can send it privately if you think it
  contains sensitive information, but answer also to the bug so I can track
  it.
