Package: gmetad
Version: 3.1.2-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi Stuart.

I've attached an improved version of your initscript for gmetad, which adds support for pid files. The CONFIG variable is interesting as many sites that I know run more than one gmetad on the same host,... and thus it's easier to copy the gmetad scripts.
Of course this could be much more automated... ;)

Chris.

btw: for gmond I think, you also use -m of start stop dameon to create the pid file. This does not work, as gmond/gemadt forks again,.. use the --pid-file option as I did :-)
