Mmm, for some reason I stopped receiving mails for this bug report, anyway I see Dirk has already reported everything I managed to discover today =). I just wanted to add that, even if autohide is set, if the panel is shown when the application is started, everything works. Alex, I've seen upstream has deemed this an apllications' fault as well, but the fact that a) it shows up only in Xfce, and only in 4.6 b) it shows only with some, very precise, settings makes me think that at least there is a contributory negligence... If it works with the frame, I can't see why it can't work without... Thanks,
