Heh, distributions can't feel embarrassment, only people can :P If *you* feel embarrassed, it is pretty easy to relieve yourself from this feeling. Just devote a week (or two) from your life and do what's left to be done :) As long as nobody has the free time / skills / persistence required for a decent package (eclipse is not trivial) there won't be one, it is that simple.
