thanks for your bug report. I tried to reproduce what you reported by opening a
new document, drawing a rectangle and change its colour via the "Fill and
Stroke" dialog. I can set all values including the values 245...255 for r/g/b/a.
In the xml editor these values are represented as ff, so all seems to be OK for 
me.
I never noticed the behaviour you describe here, so I'm ab lost.
Can you describe how you get to the odd behaviour?
