Package: libcompizconfig0 Version: 0.8.2-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi folks, I wondered why some packages are still missing on i386 (and other platforms as well) which are since days or even weeks in amd64 so I did have a look at the build logs https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=libcompizconfig;ver=0.8.2-1;arch=i386;stamp=1240177588 and saw the same issue I reported 5 days ago. A missing build dep for compiz-dev (see #524411). I did build the package from source and can confirm the missing build dep on libxcursor-dev is the only issue there. As the package is on amd64 and everything is working there I can only assume the maintainer didn't built his upload in a "clean" chroot / system which is his own. It seems like maintainers tend to neglect other archs and I like to appeal to their honour! But then again... maybe he/they is/are just very busy at the moment, so please don't take any offence :-) kind regards Michael -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libcompizconfig0 depends on: ii libc6 2.9-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.3-8 GCC support library ii libprotobuf3 2.0.3-2 protocol buffer C++ library ii libstdc++6 4.3.3-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.2.1-1 X11 client-side library ii libxml2 2.7.3.dfsg-1 GNOME XML library libcompizconfig0 recommends no packages. libcompizconfig0 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
