Package: gtodo Version: 0.16.0~rc2-1.1 Severity: normal When double clicking on an item in gtodo to edit the comment field, the current X copy buffer is replaced with the title of the item. This is a serious usability flaw since it breaks the workflow of copying data from an email/etc and pasting it into the comment field of the todo list entry.
The correct workflow is to read an email, copy some data out of it, double click on the required todo list item and paste into the comment field. What ends up happening is when you double click on an item, the title of the item gets highlighted and becomes the copy buffer, and you end up pasting the title into the comment field. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gtodo depends on: ii gconf2 2.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.6.4-7 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libgconf2-4 2.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.6-1+lenny1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnomevfs2-0 1:2.22.0-5 GNOME Virtual File System (runtime ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.11-4 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.5-3 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii libxml2 2.6.32.dfsg-5 GNOME XML library ii libxslt1.1 1.1.24-2 XSLT processing library - runtime gtodo recommends no packages.
