Hi! I've checked your bug and noticed one thing:
- it is reproducible on amd64 (same as your machine) - it is reproducible on sparc64 (audacity 1.3.5-2+lenny1) - it is NOT reproducible on i686 I haven't checked more platforms, but this surely needs investigation. >From what I've seen in src/commands/CommandManager.cpp, the message is triggered in HandleCommandEntry when TryToMakeActionAllowed returns false. I have to build a debug version and check where things go wrong. On the other hand, this could also be done upstream. Do we want to forward this bug? I'm in a hurry right now, but I could investigate tomorrow. OTOH, it seems to be a long-standing bug in the 1.3. series, so upstream needs to get involved anyway.
