qemu 0.10.2 is going to be released on monday, and it includes a fix for
VGA corruption. I don't know if it is your issue or not, but I think it
may be worth waiting for it. Alternatively you can try the upstream SVN

Yes, that could help me finding the problem, but I can't promise any ETA
about that, as debugging this kind of problem is a really long process.
