this is already fixed in the 1.1.8.1 packages which are waiting for approval in the NEW queue, you can also use the preview repository if you like (more info on http://pkg-mono.alioth.debian.org). The dllmap is not needed anymore with the 1.1.8.1 packages though, because the library is in real unversioned and upstream removed now the versioning part (.0.*).
