This bug is due to terminally dumb UI design. In the OWA settings page on the wisard (or the relevant preferences dialogue) the Mailbox should not be a writeable field.
It is obtained from a server. If a user sets it manually (which is the case if the settings are copied from one machine to another) the Mailbox is displayed, but internally the library _ADDS_ the setting from the Mailbox to the one obtained from the server. As a result instead of accessing https://mail.bt.com/exchange/IVANOVA (where IVANOVA is the mailbox) it accesses https://mail.bt.com/exchange/IVANOVA/IVANOVA resulting it total fubar. None the less all settings and dialogues for both cases - obtained from server and set manually look the same. This field must be left as read-only/greyed out/whatever by default and the correct setting must be displayed if it is touched manually. The bug has been posted a number of times on Fedora, Ubuntu, etc BTSes, however it is usually posted as a "Kerberos Error" which is just a spurious error message and does not reflect the actual bug.
