Package: cryptsetup
Version: 2:1.0.6-7
Severity: important
Tags: patch

Cryptsetup for non-luks devices calls udev's vol_id to check for existing file
systems. udev 0.140-1, however, changed its return messages, so the check
doesn't properly work.

The new message should presumably be incorporated in
/lib/cryptsetup/checks/un_vol_id:
23c23
< if [ "$vol_id" != "$dev: unknown volume type" ] && [ "$vol_id" != "minix" ]
&& [ -z "$fs" ] && [ "$vol_id" != "unknown or non-unique volume type
(--probe-all lists possibly conflicting types)" ]; then
---
> if [ "$vol_id" != "$dev: unknown volume type" ] && [ "$vol_id" != "minix" ]
> && [ -z "$fs" ]; then
