In the below sample setup-storage tells it preserves sda5 to sda8. In the disk_config I specified disk_config disk1 preserve_reinstall:8,9,10,12 For e.g. sda6 is not preserved, but a new file system is created in this partition. There's a difference between preserving the partition layout (locateion and size) and to preserve the data inside a partition. setup-storage should distinguish between both types of preserving using two different messages. Currently there's no message that the data on sda8,9,10 and 12 is not deleted.
