Do you think it'd be feasible for you to send me some .blend files including audio files, so that I can easily reproduce the bug here, and try some more fixes? I didn't play with the VSE yet, so that would spare me some learning before actually reproducing the bug. If you wish, you could send them to me privately, without sending them to the bug, if they shall be considered private and not to be disclosed.
