I was not suggesting to move to CVS version, I just was too lazy to search for the specific patch, and I thought you maybe follow the development and could find =) But anyways, I tracked down the patch (well, to be honest Margarita Manterola did =) http://libmtp.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/libmtp/libmtp/src/music-players.h?r1=1.120&r2=1.121&view=patch I downloaded the 0.3.6 (debian package) source code, applied the patch (it applied cleanly), recompiled and tested it and all is working great, so if you can release a package with this patch I think it will be appreciated by other people using Zen Xtra (I have the patched package now ;) > If no minimal patch is provided (I mean, really minimal), I will > downgrade the severity of this bug report to "normal". I don't understand how the presence (or not) of a patch can change the severity. This bug make the package unusable to me, so I don't see how it's not important.
