I just want to mention that it is perfectly possible to include dots at this state inti the tasks files. I usually do this to make sure I'll not forget it later. The metapackage building tools are clever enough to turn dependencies of not (yet) existing packages into "Suggests" - so the metapackage will be valid from the beginning. The web page building tools will ignore it (there is a warning issued at command line - see alioth:/var/lib/gforge/chroot/home/groups/blends/webtools/logs/ ) and you might even add some additional information (including the number of the WNPP bug) to get it listed as prospective package - see the examples in Debian Med tasks files or read the blends doc[1]. I'd leave it to your decision how long you estimate the delay between issuing the WNPP bug and the final upload. BTW, it is planed to even parse the new queue to obtain the needed information for the tasks page (but this needs some preparation). Kind regards Andreas.
