Hi,
pcsc_scan expects /var/run/pcscd.pub to exist whereas the debian package
of pcscd uses /var/run/pcscd/pcscd.pub ... Meaning that it can't be used
out of the box.
$pcsc_scan

... then it works.
I guess the pcsc_scan should be patched to look for
/var/run/pcscd/pcscd.pub.
What is the output of:
$ pcscd --version
