Package: dvdisaster
Version: 0.71.27-1
Followup-For: Bug #515950

This is more a "me too" report and a possible fix. I have the same
problem: When starting dvdisaster I get an "illegal hardware
instruction".

I had the same error message with another program once, so I tried an
ugly hack I learned back then:
  $ qemu-i386 dvdisaster
And it worked!

Looking at the build system I found a simple fix:
  $ ./configure --with-sse2=no
The resulting binary works on my system.

The relevant line from my /proc/cpuinfo:
flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge
mca cmov pat pse36 mmx fxsr sse syscall mp mmxext 3dnowext 3dnow up

Greetings, Tobias
