Hello again,
while looking at gtkvncviewer to see what GNOME components it used,
apparently it only uses gconf and gnomekeyring.
The gconf python bindings are provided by the python-gnome2 package,
you should probably depend on that explicitly.
The gnomekeyring python bindings are provided in unstable by the
python-gnome2-desktop. This package ships a lot of stuff and has a lot
of dependencies. Fortunately, for GNOME 2.24, the gnomekeyring bindings
have been moved, as far as I can see, to their own python-gnomekeyring
package.
I think that it'd be great if you could drop the dependency on
python-gnome2-desktop and depend on python-gnomekeyring instead (plus
python-gnome2 as indicated above). That should reduce the size of
dependencies for gtkvncviewer quite a lot.
Note that you should only do that once python-gnomekeyring appears in
unstable, of course.
