*** Please type your report below this line *** NVidia 780i chipset, Asus Crosshair II Formula motherboard onboard audio device is SupremeFXII, AD1988 module in question is snd_hda_intel I get severe distortion with this soundcard on a fresh installation of debian 5.0. I have successfully used this soundcard under Ubuntu and 64 studio.
