Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-orion5x Version: 2.6.26-13 Severity: important
The current version of the orion kernel image has no hiddev support, which is needed by devices such as UPS-es which connect via USB. For instance, the package apcupsd will not run on this kernel, because it cannot find any /dev/usb/hiddev* devices. Please enable the option CONFIG_USB_HIDDEV to correct this. Severity set to important at request of Martin Michlmayr. We have verified that this option indeed solves the problem.
